Job summary

DOCS Health is hiring a part-time Dental Assistant to support a state-of-the-art dental practice in Northern Kentucky. Responsibilities include preparing patients, documenting histories, chairside support, and ensuring infection control. Candidates must have certification, x-ray license, CPR/BLS, nitrous and DAANCE, with at least 1 year oral surgery experience.

Schedule includes Saturdays. Applicants should have or obtain a Real ID driver's license before start; background check and E-Verify

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification in the state you are applying to.
• Minimum of 1 year of oral surgery experience.
• X-Ray Certification.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Nitrous Certification required.
• DAANCE Certification required.
• Must possess, or be willing to obtain, a Real ID Drivers License prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and obtain vital signs.
• Review and document medical histories.
• Provide chairside support and patient communication.
• Operate dental software and clinical equipment.
• Set up and break down procedures, including biohazard disposal.
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control compliance.
• Complete required clinical and clerical documentation.
