Job summary

Aspen Dental is hiring an Oral Surgeon Dental Assistant to support clinical needs across multiple offices. You will travel to nearby sites, assist during a variety of procedures, take dental X-rays, prepare operatory spaces, and maintain infection control while educating patients on oral health.

Qualifications

• Active license, registration, or permit as required by state; including x-ray certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
• Must have high school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care
• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Take dental X-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies to maintain health
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Work collaboratively with dental team to provide patient care
