Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Oral Surgeon Dental Assistant to support clinical needs across multiple offices with travel. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay and opportunities for career development within a world-class dental service organization.

You will take dental X-rays, assist during treatment procedures, maintain infection control, and educate patients on oral hygiene while collaborating with the dental team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Active license/permit as required by the state; including x-ray certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care.
• Assist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take dental X-rays.
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health.
• Perform various office tasks as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care.
