Job summary

Plum Dental Group is seeking an Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to support the clinical team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. You will assist with procedures, prepare operatories, maintain infection control, and contribute to smooth practice flow in a growing, dentist-owned group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience required.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy standards.
• Basic computer proficiency; experience with Carestack or similar dental software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures.
• Provide chairside support and anticipate provider needs during procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms.
• Maintain infection control and equipment cleanliness.
• Record patient information and clinical documentation in Carestack.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
