The role requires a High School diploma or GED, up to one year of technical education or on-the-job training, and Basic CPR with CDA certification within 30 months if not already held. This position involves direct patient care in a clinical setting.
Position Summary: Provides technical assistance and support for Dentists/Surgeons during Plastic & Oral Surgery examinations and procedures. Under regular supervision and following established procedures and instructions, provides basic direct care to patients. Prepares patients and instruments and treatment materials for procedures. Obtains, measures, and records vital signs. Obtains radiographic images and dental impressions. Assists clinician during examinations including passing instruments and materials, placing topical gel and/or anesthetic cream; may remove sutures. After procedure, provides patients/parents with general information and instruction. Cleans and sterilizes room and equipment.
Work experience required: up to one year of basic technical education or at least one year of on the job training.
High School diploma/GED is required.
