Chandler Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Assistant to support a fast-paced surgical environment and help patients feel at ease throughout their treatment experience. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, team-oriented, and committed to providing an outstanding patient experience.

This role supports the surgeon in a variety of oral surgery procedures, including surgical extractions, wisdom tooth extractions, dental implant placement, bone grafting,

Qualifications

• Oral Surgery assisting experience in an oral surgery setting.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• X-ray Certification required.
• Experience with CBCT imaging.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsabilités

• Assist surgeon during oral surgery procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and operatories.
• Monitor and support patient flow throughout the day.
• Take diagnostic radiographs and CBCT scans.
• Assist with IV sedation setup, preparation, & placement.
• Ensure pre-operative and post-operative patient instructions are provided.
