Job summary

The Smilist in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an Oral Surgeon to join our high-volume, multi-specialty dental practice. You will perform extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, IV sedation, and management of surgical cases in collaboration with general dentists and specialists.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency.
• Active Pennsylvania Dental License.
• IV Sedation Permit required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Extraction of impacted and erupted teeth.
• Dental implant placement and related surgical procedures.
• Bone grafting and ridge preservation.
• IV sedation and anesthesia services.
• Surgical management of oral pathology and infections.
• Collaborative treatment planning with General Dentists and Specialists.
• Delivering an exceptional patient experience and clinical outcomes.

Education

DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school

Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency

Active Pennsylvania Dental License

IV Sedation Permit required
