Job description

The Division of Oral Health, Department of Surgery at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a skilled Oral Surgeon to join our dynamic team.

Position Highlights

  • The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive surgical care for patients with various oral and maxillofacial conditions, including dental extractions, trauma, tumors, and dental implants.
  • Work closely with dental specialists, medical professionals, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care in a hospital setting.
  • Participation in medical student, resident and fellow education.
  • Robust research opportunities and support.
  • Opportunity to provide comprehensive care to our patients, contributing to our mission of improving the health and well-being of the communities we serve.
  • Appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or full Professor level, dependent on qualifications.

Requirements
  • DDS or DMD degree from a dental education program accredited by The Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA).
  • Graduate of an approved Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) training program.
  • Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania.
  • Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates.
