i4 Dental Lab in Toledo, Ohio is seeking a full-time Oral Surgeon to serve as the surgical resource for general dentists and families in Lucas County. You will perform complex extractions, implant placements, and related procedures, ensuring patient comfort and clear communication with the dental team.

The role requires a DDS/DMD, CODA residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery, and a current Ohio license with DEA and sedation credentials.

Qualificações

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of a CODA-accredited oral and maxillofacial surgery residency.
• Board certified or board eligible in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
• Current Ohio dental license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Valid DEA registration and sedation permit or ability to obtain them.
• Strong surgical judgment and a calm, reassuring manner with nervous patients.

Responsabilidades

• Perform surgical extractions, including impacted molars, with local anesthesia, nitrous oxide or IV sedation.
• Place dental implants and perform bone grafting, sinus augmentation and ridge preservation procedures.
• Evaluate and manage biopsies, pathology referrals and minor facial trauma in the Toledo area.
• Review CBCT scans and plan guided surgery cases alongside restorative dentists.
• Provide post-operative follow-up and maintain complete surgical records.
