Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.
• Active Florida Dental License or ability to obtain licensure prior to start.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery preferred.
• Strong surgical and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with dental implants, extractions, bone grafting, and comprehensive oral surgery procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and exceptional patient care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with general dentists and other dental specialists.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical care to patients of all appropriate ages.
• Perform surgical extractions, including complex and impacted teeth.
• Perform dental implant placement and related surgical procedures.
• Diagnose and develop comprehensive surgical treatment plans.
• Perform bone grafting and other pre-prosthetic surgical procedures as appropriate.
• Evaluate and manage oral pathology and other surgical conditions.
• Collaborate closely with general dentists, Periodontists, and other specialists.
• Educate patients regarding treatment options, risks, benefits, and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and deliver a high standard of patient care.
• Utilize modern surgical techniques and technology to achieve excellent clinical outcomes.
