Responsibilities

  • Perform complex oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures including extractions, dental implants, biopsies, and soft and hard tissue surgeries
  • Provide consultations and referrals for patients requiring specialized oral surgical care beyond the scope of general dentistry
  • Collaborate with other dental professionals and in planning and delivering integrated healthcare services
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality
  • Follow infection control protocols, OSHA and CDPH guidelines
  • Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines related to oral surgery
Qualifications
  • Current and unrestricted state license in good standing
  • Possess strong bedside manner, and great communication skills
  • A minimum of two years of dentistry experience in clinical or private practice is required
