Job description

The U.S. Navy is actively seeking a board-certified Oral Surgeon to serve as a Dental Corps Officer on active duty.

This is a full-time, in-person role. Not a Remote or telemedicine position.

Specialty: Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Starting Annual Compensation: $334,055 to $386,090

Potential Practice Locations:

California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington

and more.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform advanced surgical interventions for oral-facial injuries, conditions, and diseases in both operational and non-operational settings
  • Lead multidisciplinary surgical teams
  • Contribute to medical readiness and research initiatives supporting Sailors and Marines

Eligibility Requirements:

  • DDS or DMD from a CODA accredited program
  • Completed a CODA accredited Oral Surgery residency in the U.S. (or in the final year of residency)
  • Board certified in Oral Surgery (or in the final year of residency)
  • Between the ages of 21 and 63 (Title 10 U.S. Code section 531 and 532)
