Job summary

Confidential dental practice in the Greater Philadelphia area seeks an experienced Oral Surgeon to join the team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures and collaborate with specialists to ensure excellent patient care.

Requirements include a DMD or DDS from an accredited school, completion of an oral surgery residency, board certification or eligibility, and an active Pennsylvania dental license.

Qualifications

• Must hold DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school and completed an oral surgery residency.
• Board certification or eligibility in oral surgery is required or anticipated.
• Active Pennsylvania dental license in good standing plus proven oral surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures, including extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, and other surgical treatments.
• Diagnose and treat oral diseases, injuries, and abnormalities.
• Collaborate with other dental specialists and general dentists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients about oral health and preventive care measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
