Job summary

Concerned Dental Care of the Bronx is seeking an Oral Surgeon to join our established, multi‑specialty practice on a part‑time or full‑time basis. With Medicaid patients and strong clinical and administrative support, you can focus on surgery rather than running a practice.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program.
• Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency.
• Active New York dental license or eligibility for licensure.
• Board-certified or board-eligible.
• Experience with wisdom teeth and surgical extractions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform wisdom teeth removal, simple and surgical extractions within training and scope.
• Diagnose conditions and develop individualized surgical treatment plans.
• Provide pre- and post-operative education and compassionate patient care.
• Collaborate with general dentists and specialists for comprehensive treatment.
• Maintain high standards for patient safety, documentation and outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with referring providers and clinical teams.

Your Role as an Oral Surgeon

• Perform wisdom teeth removal, simple and surgical extractions, and other oral surgery procedures within your training and scope
• Diagnose conditions and develop individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide clear pre‑and post‑operative education and compassionate patient care
• Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate comprehensive treatment
• Maintain high standards for patient safety, documentation, and clinical outcomes
• Build strong relationships with referring providers and clinical teams

What We’re Looking For

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental program
• Completion of an accredited Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency
• Active New York dental license or eligibility for licensure
• Board-certified or board-eligible
• Experience and confidence performing wisdom teeth and surgical extractions strongly preferred
• Currently credentialed with Medicaid or willing to complete Medicaid credentialing
• Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
