• Unique opportunity to collaborate with Dentistry, ENT, and other Departments
• Duties include providing IV sedation in the clinical setting, assisting in facial trauma and jaw reconstruction in the operating room, and wound closures
• The scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery includes dentoalveolar procedures (teeth extractions, dental implants), management of benign and malignant pathology, facial trauma, obstructive sleep apnea, correction of facial/jaw deformities, and temporomandibular joint disorders
• Training provided within Anesthesia and Dental departments, with off-site training opportunities related to anesthesia in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
• Share first call on trauma with the OMS department
