Job summary

American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in Missouri/Kansas City region seeks a board-certified or board-eligible OMFS surgeon for an immediate partnership with no buy-in. A leader who mentors and educates referrals will thrive in a collaborative multi-location practice focused on implants and full-arch cases.

The role offers a guaranteed base of $600,000 with a potential collection bonus, in a surgeon-owned setting with a strong staff and referral network.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
• Strong leadership and teaching abilities.
• Willing to mentor referrals and lead community relationships.
• Able to obtain licensure in KS and MO.
• Extensive knowledge of dental implants and prosthetics.
• Familiar with digital dentistry and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-volume implant surgery cases and full-scope OMFS procedures.
• Mentor staff, educate referrals, and foster relationships with dentists.
• Collaborate with affiliated offices to maintain a strong referral base.
• Stay current with advancements in implant dentistry and digital workflow.

Opportunity Highlights:

• Guaranteed base salary of $600,000 with collection bonus

• Immediate partnership with no buy-in required

• Full scope, majority surgeon owned oral maxillofacial surgery practice with a heavy emphasis on dental implants with the opportunity to place several hundred per year in addition to full arch cases

• Work in a professional, collaborative & collegial setting with Key Opinion Leaders in implant surgery, full arch reconstruction, digital work flow and productivity

• Full schedule waiting with excellent referral base and fully trained staff

Qualifications:

• Leadership Skills, willing to mentor and foster relationships with referrals and be a leader within the community

• Teaching Skills, willing and able to give presentations and help educate referrals

• Strong Work Ethic, willing to do add-ons or stay late when necessary

• Must be able to obtain licensure in KS and MO

• Must have knowledge of Implant Dentistry, both surgical and prosthetics

• Must have knowledge of Digital Dentistry and the digital workflow

• Must work well with others i.e. surgeons and staff at other offices

• Must be willing to learn new advancements in oral surgery
