Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon $600,000 Base Pittsburgh, PA

A highly skilled and motivated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon is being sought to join a thriving and growing practice. This position offers a unique opportunity to become a partner in an innovative setting committed to providing exceptional patient care.

About the Practice:

  • Experiencing a significant growth surge, WPOMS is seeking an associate to support expansion efforts, including the development of a brand-new office.
  • The practice operates with a strong, patient-first philosophy, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Located approximately 30 minutes outside of Pittsburgh, WPOMS occupies a 5,500 sq. ft. facility with six operatories and two exam rooms, fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including CBCT, XNAV, multiple implant systems, and Trios.
  • The practice has an established referral network and a custom referral app, with no prior marketing initiatives but ongoing monthly CE courses for dentists to strengthen professional relationships.

Position Highlights:

  • Focus on dentoalveolar and implant surgery, including the All-on-X procedure, with opportunities to engage in orthognathic and trauma surgery.
  • Provide anesthesia services and lead clinical operations while contributing to marketing and referral development.
  • Full-time position with a five-day work week, treating 20-30 patients per day.
  • Split-screened call for practice; hospital call available if desired (no paid call).
  • Privileges available at the University of Pittsburgh.

Staff & Support:

  • A dedicated team of 17 experienced staff members, including a highly skilled Physician Assistant (PA-C), who has contributed to a 30% increase in collections over the past eight years.
  • A team of certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants trained in IV sedation, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
  • A nurse on staff for IVs and injections.

Financial Package & Benefits:

  • $600,000 base salary with a first-year earning potential exceeding $1M.
  • 35% bonus on collections exceeding $1.6M, with practice owner collections surpassing $4M.
  • $50,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance, paid in a lump sum at signing.
  • $10,000 loan forgiveness.
  • 100% malpractice coverage ($13,000 annual value).
  • 80 hours of PTO and a $5,000 annual CE stipend (including one week of CME leave).
  • Association dues are covered.
  • 12-month partnership track with a potential buy-in opportunity.
