Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Scientist to develop and implement new Oral Care formulas for North America. You will lead experimental designs, create lab and pilot batches, and support stability testing and customer samples to ensure quality and compliance.

The role requires a relevant degree and 1–2 years in consumer goods formulation development, with GMP/GLP understanding. Hybrid work environment and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Food Science or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in formulation development in a consumer goods environment.
• Experience scaling up formulations from lab to pilot or manufacturing scale.
• Technical understanding of active deliveries, emulsions, surfactants, rheology, liquid chemistry.
• Knowledge of ingredient chemistry and how materials affect formulation and process.
• Knowledge of cGMP /GMP and GLP.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement new oral care formulas for North America.
• Lead experimental designs to identify launch formulations and production processes.
• Create lab and pilot batches for stability testing and customer sampling.
• Support Pilot Plant batches by preparing batch sheets and raw materials.
• Assist plant trial batches at various North America locations as needed.
• Manage multiple stability studies across lab, pilot and plant scale with support groups.
• Create and maintain GMP/GLP documentation and technical justifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized working environment and handle changing priorities.
