Job summary

Accenture is hiring an experienced Oracle Utilities - Customer Care & Billing Architect to design scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. You will lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate across multiple teams to implement rate case and regulatory changes by 2026.

The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days in the office, with hiring locations in Tampa, Orlando, Houston, or Atlanta.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience in Oracle Utilities - Oracle Customer Care & Billing (Rates) as architect/designer/techno-functional consultant.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
• If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience.

An experienced Oracle Utilities - Oracle Customer Care & Billing Application Consultant

The Work

As a Custom Application Architect, you will be responsible for designing the application architecture of custom software systems to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions. You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively. You will be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions. Additionally, you are expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. Expert proficiency in Oracle Utilities Customer Care And Billing is required. Advanced proficiency in Software Design & Solutions is recommended.

• Lead the design and implementation of innovative application architectures that meet business requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
• Mentor team members on best practices in software architecture and design.
• The project will implement rate case changes and regulatory changes that the company needs to fulfill by end of 2026.

This is a hybrid role and will require 3 days per week in the office. Hiring Locations: Tampa, Orlando, Houston or Atlanta.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
