Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned Oracle Utilities batch specialist to design, develop, and optimize OUAF and C2M batch processes. You will build shell scripts for scheduling and recovery, collaborate with architects and offshore teams, and lead SIT/UAT for batch solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in OUAF/C2M, strong scripting skills, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Travel may be required; Accenture offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on OUAF and Oracle C2M/CC&B batch processing.
• 3+ years writing and maintaining shell scripts for batch scheduling, monitoring, and recovery.
• 3+ years designing batch architectures and job dependency frameworks on Oracle Utilities implementations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Oracle C2M / OUAF batch processes for billing, metering, data conversion, and integration.
• Build and maintain shell scripts to schedule, monitor, and recover batch jobs across environments.
• Collaborate with leads, architects, and offshore teams to translate requirements into batch solutions.
• Define and maintain batch architecture documentation, job dependency maps, and runbooks.
• Lead SIT and UAT for batch, including defect triage and root-cause analysis.
• Support performance tuning of batch threads and queries to meet SLAs.
• Participate in cutover planning and execution for batch deployment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production and non-production batch environments.
