Job Summary
The ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Administrator is responsible for administration, management, optimization, and support activities related to the organization’s corporate applications, including ERP and Timekeeping systems, with a focus on supply chain.
This role includes user administration, system maintenance, documentation, interface management, system health monitoring, security compliance, user training, change management, process improvement, and system optimization.
Education & Experience
- BS / BA preferred. Consideration will be given to other credentials and industry certifications if a bachelor’s degree is in progress with graduation expected within 2 years.
- At least 3-5 years of progressive system administration experience, proficient in analyzing log files, managing user accounts and groups, and setting up workflows.
- 1-3 years of Oracle Fusion technical administration experience required; functional knowledge of HR, SCM, or Fin areas.
- Experience with installing and upgrading systems required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines.
- Motivated, self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet regular time and attendance requirements.
- Experience working in cloud system environments.
Essential Functions
- Act as an internal liaison for end users and corporate partners by providing guidance and training on application functionalities.
- Optimize existing workflows and lead the development of new workflows.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business partners to maintain and improve applications.
- Analyze and document current business processes to identify gaps and propose improvements.
- Resolve problems based on shifting priorities and resources.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for managed applications.
- Ensure system availability and optimal configuration for data quality.
- Implement changes through a defined change management process.
- Develop and maintain system documentation.
- Coordinate hardware/software solutions for system problems.
- Implement security procedures and monitor system performance.
- Troubleshoot issues and outages, serving as a point of contact.
- Coordinate with vendors for upgrades and releases, and perform testing.
- Provide status reports to IT and business partners.
- Administer third-party applications supporting Oracle processes as needed.
- Provide after-hours support to maintain critical functions.
Relationships
- Lead team initiatives, with responsibility and accountability for team activities.
- Work within general guidelines, with decision-making and priority setting delegated.
- Investigate and define problems, sometimes modifying procedures within policies.
- Interact frequently with vendors and occasionally with other staff, including physicians.
- Work may require evening, night, holiday, or weekend hours.
- Workload may vary frequently.
