Job summary

nVent seeks an experienced Oracle Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end Oracle solution architecture across O2C, P2P, Financials, and Project Accounting. You will mentor a team, drive modernization efforts, and partner with Finance and Operations leadership to translate complex requirements into scalable, automated solutions.

The role involves coordinating internal and offshore teams, defining migration plans, and ensuring stability during upgrades and transformations. Travel is expected.

Qualifications

  • Ideally 12+ years of Oracle experience with hands-on EBS R12 and/or Fusion Cloud.
  • Leading full lifecycle Oracle implementations, upgrades, and production support (KTLO).
  • Strong functional expertise across O2C, P2P, Financials, and Project Accounting modules.
  • Ability to navigate between business process analysis, functional design, configuration, and solution architecture.
  • Experience managing or mentoring Oracle resources.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Oracle functional resources with clear ownership and technical direction.
  • Own end-to-end Oracle solution architecture across O2C, P2P, Financials, and Project Accounting.
  • Design and validate functional solutions, configurations, integrations, and data flows.
  • Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations leadership to translate complex business requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Analyze production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and act as escalation point for system stability.
  • Lead Oracle R12 modernization and Fusion Cloud transformation initiatives including upgrades.
  • Define migration strategies, designs, testing approaches, cutover plans, and post-implementation stabilization.
  • Coordinate internal resources, offshore teams, and vendors to build internal capabilities.
  • Communicate complex Oracle concepts clearly to executives.
