nVent seeks a skilled Oracle EBS Functional Analyst to bridge business needs with digital solutions. You will support Order to Cash, Inventory, MRP and Shipping Execution while coordinating with Softeon WMS and ERP transformation programs.

The Oracle EBS Order to Cash & Supply Chain Functional Analyst acts as a key bridge between the business and digital team, ensuring Oracle EBS effectively supports customer order management, supply chain planning, inventory, warehouse and shipment execution. This position will focus on Order to Cash, MRP, Customer Service, Shipping Execution and integration with Softeon WMS in a retail/distribution environment.
Be part of an internal ERP modernization team supporting and upgrading Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) platforms in North America. Participate in global ERP implementation and transformation projects working closely with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehouse and Finance teams. Support modernization and optimization of Oracle EBS Order Management and Supply Chain processes.
Work with key users to understand customer order and fulfillment requirements and translate them into Oracle EBS functional solutions. Act as a process expert across Order Management, Customer Service, ATP, reservations, scheduling, order holds, backorders, cancellations and order changes. Support end-to-end O2C processes from customer order entry through shipment and invoicing. Understand the impact of order transactions on Inventory, Shipping, Costing, AR and GL. Support retail-specific requirements including customer pricing, multiple ship-to locations, partial shipments, backorders and fulfillment priorities.
Support Oracle EBS Inventory, MRP and supply planning processes. Work with Supply Chain and Planning teams on demand/supply planning, replenishment, sourcing, safety stock, lead times and make/buy decisions. Analyse MRP recommendations and their impact on material availability, manufacturing and customer fulfillment. Support integration between Order Management, MRP, Inventory, Manufacturing and Warehouse operations.
Own the functional relationship between Oracle EBS Order Management/Shipping Execution and Softeon WMS. Support the end-to-end process from customer order, allocation and picking through packing, shipment confirmation and inventory update. Understand Oracle EBS shipping transactions including Pick Release, Delivery, Delivery Detail, Move Order and Ship Confirm. Troubleshoot integration and transaction issues between Oracle EBS and Softeon, including order, quantity, inventory and shipment discrepancies. Ensure shipment transactions are correctly reflected in Oracle EBS and flow downstream to invoicing and financial processes.
Design Oracle EBS solutions to address business requirements while leveraging standard functionality wherever possible. Configure and support Oracle EBS Order Management, Inventory, Shipping Execution and MRP functionality. Participate in prototyping, integration testing, UAT and implementation of new functionality. Develop test scenarios covering the complete flow from customer order → availability/MRP → allocation → warehouse execution → shipment → invoicing. Lead root-cause analysis of functional, integration, master-data and configuration issues.
Provide day-to-day functional support for Oracle EBS O2C and Supply Chain processes. Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive permanent corrective actions. Develop process documentation, training materials and quick-reference guides. Partner with business users, technical teams and external system integrators to improve system reliability and business processes.
Support SOX and internal control requirements related to Order Management, Inventory, Shipping and financial processes. Support transaction reconciliation and audit activities across Oracle EBS and integrated systems.
