Job summary

Accenture in California is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Project Management consultant to lead design workshops, configure Oracle solutions, and drive large global work streams across our Oracle practice.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, guide testing cycles, and oversee go-live activities, ensuring integration of Oracle Cloud Projects components. Travel may be required based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Six years minimum experience with Oracle Applications
• Four years minimum in Oracle Cloud Project Management (Project Financial Management & Project Execution Management)
• Three years in a functional advisory/consulting role on Oracle Cloud transformation projects
• Two full life-cycle Oracle Cloud PPM implementations
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; 12 years’ work experience; if associate’s degree, minimum 6 years experience

Responsibilities

• Facilitate design workshops with business stakeholders to understand requirements
• Contribute to large-scale global work streams requiring Oracle knowledge
• Collaborate with project team, leaders, delivery leads and clients to deliver an Oracle Project Management solution
• Lead teams to design, set up, test, and deploy Oracle Project Management in an integrated environment
• Advise business on Oracle Cloud Projects data model conversions and strategies
• Guide testing cycles and perform cutover activities for go-live preparation
• Plan, organize tasks and report progress on track/deliverables

Or you specialize in one or the other, our practice covers the functional & process side of Oracle as well as the technical development & technical architecture. Additionally, you have the communication and people skills to inspire teams to bring their A-game.

The Work:

• Facilitates design workshops with business stakeholders to understand business requirements; demonstrates understanding of business needs and recommend robust design
• Contribute to large-scale, global work streams requiring specific knowledge of Oracle.
• Work with the project team, team leaders, project delivery leads, and client stakeholders to create stand-out PPM solution offering powered by Oracle Cloud.
• Lead teams to design, set-up, test, and deploy Oracle Project Management solutions and ensure that all the pieces work together in an integrated environment.
• Understand Oracle Cloud Projects data model conversions and advise business teams on conversion strategies.
• Guide the testing cycles teams as well as perform cutover activities as required for go-live preparation
• Plan and organize tasks and report progress on the track/deliverables.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

What you Need:

• Minimum of 6 years experience working with Oracle Applications
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Oracle Cloud Project Management Cloud (Project Financial Management: Project Foundation, Project Costing, Project Control, Project Billing, and Enterprise Contracts for Project Billing, Project Execution Management: Project Management, Project Resource Management, Task Management)
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a functional advisory or consulting role on Oracle Cloud transformation Project
• Minimum of 2 full life-cycle Oracle Cloud PPM implementations
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years’ work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent (minimum 6-year working experience)
• Bonus Points If:
• Oracle Project Management Cloud Certification
• Support the delivery team with expertise in Oracle ERP Cloud product suite, and by providing implementation support, bug fixes, and customer support.
• Have good Cross-Functional exposure to Finance and other modules
