Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company in Audubon, PA is seeking a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer/Architect III to design and develop reliable, high-performance applications. The role is a 24-month contract, hybrid as needed with onsite presence in Audubon, PA. Visa sponsorship is not available. Pay rate ranges from $54.22 to $77.46 per hour on a W2 basis. Client requires SQL expertise and Agile SCRUM experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 7+ years of Oracle PL/SQL design experience.
• Proven track record on Agile SCRUM teams and SDLC.
• Experience designing high-performance PL/SQL solutions.
• Knowledge of data modeling and performance tuning.
• Independent problem solver with troubleshooting examples.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect reliable, high-performance PL/SQL solutions with SDLC discipline.
• Develop new functionality and implement Oracle PL/SQL solutions meeting business requirements.
• Focus on stability and performance in system design.
• Analyze user needs and feasibility within time and cost constraints.
• Exposure to Oracle IAS development (HTML pages built with PL/SQL) is a plus.

Oracle PL/SQL Applications Developer / Architect III

We are looking for a Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team and support the design and development of reliable, high-performing applications.

Job Details

Duration: 24 months contract W2

Pay Rate: $54.22-$77.46

Location: Hybrid as needed only to be onsite- Audubon PA

Client is not able to do any sponsorship of visa or C2C

Responsibilities

• Design and architect reliable, high-performance functional and technical specifications using extensive knowledge of SDLC database programming in PL/SQL environment.
• Take an active role, develop new functionality, design and implement Oracle PL/SQL solutions that satisfy complex business requirements.
• Focus on system design that provides stability and performance.
• Working directly with business groups, analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Oracle IAS development (HTML web pages built with PL/SQL), nice to have.
• Responsible for design and implementation of software solutions that understand the business domain (problems, activities, processes) and apply that understanding to strategic decision making to maximize technology value.
• Architect new procedures and practices in a team environment.
• Be aware of emerging technologies and champion them in our environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or related discipline (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience designing and developing applications using Oracle PL/SQL technology.
• Self-starter with demonstrated initiative and a drive to deliver outstanding solutions.
• Mid‑Sr. level Oracle PL/SQL developer, accustomed to working 12‑48+ month contracts.
• This is a software design role, not just development, so ideal candidates will need more than just coding skill set.
• Experience working on an Agile SCRUM team.
• Performance/security‑oriented data modeling and data design, including partitions, different type of indexes, views, and most effective data management practices.
• Extensive knowledge of PL/SQL and PL/SQL tuning.
• Nice to have: Oracle IAS development experience (building HTML web pages with PL/SQL).
• Independent problem solver with ability to provide examples of troubleshooting experience.
• Understanding of SDLC concepts.
