Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions is seeking an Oracle SQL/PL-SQL Developer to design, develop, and manage high-performance relational database solutions. You will craft robust data models, implement server-side logic, and aggressively tune complex queries to maximize throughput and stability.

Responsibilities include creating database objects, integrating business rules in PL/SQL, tuning queries, modeling schemas, and building scalable ETL pipelines in collaboration with Java teams.

Qualifications

• Oracle Database expertise with modern versions (e.g., 19c/21c).
• Advanced PL/SQL mastery: collections, bulk operations, analytical functions, ref cursors.
• Tuning methodologies: partitioning, optimizer statistics, query execution paths.
• Familiarity with IDEs: Oracle SQL Developer, Toad, PL/SQL Developer.
• Proficiency in UNIX scripting for automation and job control.

Responsibilities

• Database Programming: Design, write, and maintain robust, high-performance objects like stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
• Business Logic Integration: Implement complex business rules in the Oracle layer using PL/SQL for security and speed.
• Performance Tuning: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and optimize sluggish SQL statements with available tools.
• Data Modeling: Design relational database architectures including schemas, tables, PK/FK, and indexes.
• ETL Pipeline Development: Build, manage, and scale ETL data integration workflows to ingest external data.
• Collaboration & Integration: Interface with backend developers to align APIs with data-tier structures.
