Job summary

PRS is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Oracle PL/SQL engineer to join the Distribution Services Delivery Domain. Our Oracle cloud-based applications support the royalty distribution value stream, ensuring our members are paid accurately in large-scale systems.

You will work in an Agile Scrum team, develop backend features, optimize performance, and provide production support across Oracle Databases, Fusion Middleware, and PL/SQL.

Qualifications

• Experience with high-volume Oracle RDBMS and Fusion Middleware.
• Proficient PL/SQL with complex data processes and robust error handling.
• Strong SQL and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes, objectives, solution requirements, application processes, and performance needs.
• Participate in project, enhancement, and BAU initiatives with subject matter experts.
• Work within an Agile Scrum sprint team with leads, QA, and analysts, contributing to estimations.
• Focus on backend development, implementing new features and enhancing existing functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support development and testing activities.
• Support production applications by investigating and resolving production issues.
• Improve efficiency, scalability, stability, and maintainability of systems and components.
• Promote technical standards and development best practices.
• Provide occasional support outside standard hours when required.
