Valleysoft is seeking an Oracle ODS Consultant to design and implement enterprise data solutions, connect multiple systems, and improve data quality for reliable reporting. You will work on data modeling, ETL/ELT processes using ODI, and performance tuning across Oracle database objects, with a focus on incremental loads and CDC.

You will collaborate with Saudi-based teams remotely, gather requirements, and ensure successful deployments and production support while leveraging your strong English

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Oracle database development and enterprise data integration.
• Hands-on experience delivering ODS or comparable enterprise data solutions, including data modelling, relational schemas, source-to-target mapping, mapping specifications, data validation, and reconciliation.
• Strong hands-on production experience with incremental-load design, CDC concepts, ETL/ELT error handling and recovery, SQL and PL/SQL optimization, query tuning, and efficient data-loading processes.
• Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or a comparable enterprise ETL/ELT platform, including pipeline development, scheduling, monitoring, and recovery.
• Hands-on production experience with unit and integration testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and controlled production releases with rollback and recovery procedures.
• Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders throughout the data-integration lifecycle, from requirements gathering through mapping validation, testing, and production support, with the ability to independently manage requirement clarification, stakeholder coordination, and issue resolution.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Availability during Saudi business hours and to support planned deployments, production releases, and urgent data-integration issues when needed.
• Experience optimizing high-volume data pipelines and supporting near-real-time integrations is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle GoldenGate for replication and change data capture is a bonus.

• Design and maintain Oracle database objects, including tables, views, indexes, constraints, and PL/SQL packages.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or comparable enterprise integration tools.
• Implement initial and incremental data loads, change data capture, error handling, and recovery procedures.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems and implement data validation, cleansing, deduplication, and reconciliation.
• Optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and data-loading processes to meet performance and data-freshness requirements.
• Perform unit and integration testing, support UAT, troubleshoot defects, and assist with production deployments.
• Monitor data pipelines, investigate incidents, and resolve data-quality and performance issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, data mappings, lineage, deployment procedures, and support runbooks.
• Collaborate remotely with Saudi-based project teams and stakeholders to deliver agreed milestones and service commitments.
