You will translate terms into mappings for semantic layers and NLQ generation, enabling robust data integration across our systems. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in data engineering with Oracle metadata experience, strong Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and Python skills for automation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of data engineering experience with Oracle database metadata.
• Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for data analysis.
• Intermediate Python skills for metadata parsing and automation.
• Experience with business documentation, data dictionaries, PDFs, and metadata.
• Knowledge of data modeling and semantic layer development; NLP-to-SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain semantic bridge between business terms and Oracle data structures.
• Convert business terms to structured mappings for NLQ to SQL generation.
• Analyze Oracle schemas, tables, and relationships for data mapping.

What's the Job?

• Build and maintain the semantic bridge between process management business language and Oracle data structures.
• Convert business terms, definitions, and metadata into structured mappings to support natural-language-to-SQL generation.
• Analyze Oracle database schemas, tables, and relationships to support data mapping and semantic layer development.
• Create and validate mappings from business terms to Oracle database objects, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with AI and data architecture teams to develop, test, and refine semantic layers and mappings for enterprise AI solutions.

What's Needed?

• At least 4+ years of experience in data engineering, metadata engineering, or related fields with hands-on Oracle database metadata experience.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PLSQL for data analysis and querying.
• Intermediate Python skills for metadata parsing, document processing, and automation tasks.
• Experience working with business documentation, data dictionaries, PDFs, and technical metadata.
• Knowledge of data modeling, semantic layer development, and natural-language-to-SQL concepts is highly desirable.
