Job summary

Credence Management Solutions, LLC seeks an Oracle Integrated Cloud (OIC) Architect SME to lead enterprise data management initiatives, including PowerCenter. Based in Tysons Corner, McLean, VA and Dayton, OH, onboarding begins September 2026.

You will guide cross-functional teams, set direction, and ensure government needs are met. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software infrastructure, strong architecture skills, and OCI experience with a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
10+ years of related experience in software infrastructure development and management.
Agile Development experience, preferably with Scrum.
Strong design and development skills for scalable, efficient solutions.
2 years' experience with OCI (IaaS).
Experience designing new systems and improving existing ones.
Ability to troubleshoot during outages.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Ability to present technical solutions to partners and customers.
OCI or Oracle middleware certifications preferred; active Security+ preferred.
Must be eligible for security clearance; an active Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

Involved in the complete software development life-cycle.
Interface directly with the client and build strong working relationships.
Provide technology leadership to the managed services team.
Assess risks and impacts of the hosting environment and transfer knowledge.
Establish development tools, guidelines for Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Python, and more.

Maintain and improve existing scripts and fix bugs.
Investigate and learn new technologies.
Create technical specifications and test plans.
Collaborate with other software teams on infrastructure needs.
Build infrastructure monitoring strategies and OCI instrumentation.

Position Summary

Credence has an upcoming need for an Oracle Integrated Cloud (OIC) Architect and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team supporting architecting, implementing and leading the team to implement Enterprise Data Management Products, including PowerCenter. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide strategic direction, technical expertise, and ensure the solution meets the specific needs of the government. This position is based in Credence's corporate offices located in Tysons Corner in McLean, VA and Dayton, OH. This project is slated to begin onboarding in September 2026.

Cloud - Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) 2 years' experience with OCI
Experience designing new systems from the ground up as well as assuming responsibility for existing systems and provide noticeable and significant improvements
Problem solving skills to troubleshoot business critical systems during outages
Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
Able to prioritize and execute tasks
Ability to work independently or in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Able to quickly pick up new technology and perform thorough product evaluations
Able to present technical solutions to partners and customers
OCI or Oracle database and middleware certification(s) preferred
Have active Security+ certification
Must be eligible for security clearance; an active Secret clearance is preferred

Salary Range: $150,000 to $180,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, education, skills, and overall qualifications.
