Job summary

Concept Plus LLC is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead HCM security, integrations, and data migration efforts for federal-oriented engagements in the Fairfax, VA area.

You will configure security controls, support module integrations, and drive data migration activities within a collaborative consulting environment, ensuring successful project delivery with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience with HCM systems and enterprise apps.
• Minimum 2 years in consulting or client-facing tech roles.
• Experience configuring HCM security and administering modules.
• Experience with system integrations and data migration methodologies.
• Experience in configuration, testing, and validation activities.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team within structured delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain HCM security roles, privileges, data access controls, and related security frameworks.
• Support design, development, and testing of integrations between HCM modules and external systems.
• Execute data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Configure HCM applications per business and technical requirements.
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and validation procedures for system, integration, and UAT.
• Analyze and troubleshoot configuration, security, integration, and data issues.
• Collaborate with business users, project managers, and technical teams to ensure delivery.
• Document configurations, integration specs, migration processes, and test results.
• Support deployment activities and post-production stabilization.

We are seeking a highly motivated Principal Consultant with expertise in Human Capital Management (HCM) Security, Integrations, and Data Migration to support enterprise HCM implementation and optimization initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring security controls, supporting module integrations, executing data migration activities, and participating in system configuration and testing efforts.

This role requires a strong combination of functional and technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and client stakeholders in a consulting environment.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute test plans, test scripts, and validation procedures for system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Analyze and troubleshoot configuration, security, integration, and data-related issues.
• Collaborate with business users, project managers, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Document system configurations, integration specifications, migration processes, and testing results.
• Support deployment activities and post‑production stabilization efforts.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in HCM systems, enterprise applications, or related technology environments.
• Minimum of 2 years of consulting experience or related client‑facing technology experience preferred.
• Experience with HCM security configuration and administration

• Configuration and testing activities

• Experience working within structured project delivery methodologies.

Preferred

• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, Oracle E‑Business Suite HCM, Workday, or comparable HCM platforms.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs, middleware technologies, and cloud integration solutions.
• Experience supporting federal government or public sector clients.
• Relevant HCM, cloud, or technical certifications.
