A leading staffing agency is seeking an experienced Oracle HCM EBS Engineer for a remote project. This role involves configuring and supporting Oracle HCM modules within the E-Business Suite and ensuring efficient integration with various systems. We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM EBS Engineer to support a high-impact project involving complex HR and payroll processes. This role focuses on configuring and maintaining Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) modules within Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), while also supporting integrations with Oracle HCM Cloud and third-party platforms. You will possess deep functional and technical expertise in Oracle EBS HCM modules, including Core HR and Payroll, and will contribute to configuration, data migrations, and issue resolution. This role requires independence, precision, and the ability to operate within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
WORKSITE: Remote (Los Angeles, CA)
WORK SCHEDULE: Standard business hours (Pacific Time), 6-month engagement with potential extension
PAY RATE: $80/hour to $88/hour

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Provide both technical and functional support for Oracle HCM EBS modules, including Core HR, Payroll, and Position Management
Analyze business and regulatory requirements and configure Oracle EBS HCM modules to align with payroll, HR compliance, and operational needs
Collaborate with project teams and HR stakeholders to ensure successful system design, data accuracy, and end-user adoption
Manage and support data integration and migration activities between Oracle EBS, Oracle HCM Cloud, and third-party systems such as tax determination and labor tracking platforms
Troubleshoot and resolve EBS-related issues, including payroll discrepancies, system errors, integration failures, and data mismatches
Document all solution configurations, customizations, workflows, and support protocols for knowledge transfer and future maintenance
Participate in testing cycles, user acceptance sessions, and production deployment planning to ensure solution quality and performance
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM modules in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), including Payroll and Core HR
Proven success configuring, maintaining, and integrating Oracle EBS systems in complex HR and payroll environments
Familiarity with data migration and bi-directional integration between Oracle EBS, Oracle HCM Cloud, and external systems
Deep understanding of HR/payroll compliance rules, tax calculation logic, accrual plans, and labor tracking concepts
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues independently and efficiently
Excellent documentation skills and experience contributing to SOPs, support logs, and knowledge transfer materials
