Job description

Summary

The Techno-Functional Lead, Oracle Fusion Supply Chain & Product Data is a senior role (Senior Consultant / Manager level) that combines functional leadership, solution architecture and design authority, and system administration for Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management, Product Information Management (Product Hub), the related General Ledger touchpoints, and reporting across both implementation and steady-state operation.

As functional lead and solution architect, the role owns functional and configuration design for the assigned modules, makes design decisions within program standards, and ensures the SCM-to-GL accounting flow and the product and item data foundation are correct, controlled, and reconcilable. As administrator, the role owns ongoing configuration, quarterly Oracle release adoption, support environment and change management. The role is hands‑on: it designs, configures, loads and validates data, builds reports, and resolves issues directly, while directing analysts, consultants, and System Integrator resources within the workstream. The role reports to the VP, Finance Transformation and Automation and partners with operations, procurement, the accounting and control teams, Technology, third‑party providers, and the System Integrator. Deep platform architecture and custom integration development remain with Technology and the System Integrator.

Key Focus Areas
  • Supply Chain & Inventory
    • Item and organization setup, purchasing and receiving, inventory transactions, cycle and physical counts, consumption, waste and shrink, valuation, and COGS.
  • Product Information Management
    • Product and item model, attributes, categories, data governance, new-item onboarding, and publication to downstream systems.
  • General Ledger & Reporting
    • SCM-to-GL accounting for cost, inventory, and COGS; reconciliation; and operational and financial reporting.

This role may supervise or coordinate analysts, consultants, and third‑party or System Integrator resources within the assigned Oracle workstream. It provides solution and administration leadership across process owners, subject‑matter experts, Technology, and third‑party providers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Solution Architecture & Design Authority
  • Hold design authority for Oracle Fusion SCM, Product Hub/PIM, and the related GL and reporting: own functional and configuration design and make design decisions within program architecture and control standards.
  • Translate accounting, control, operational, and reporting requirements into a coherent, scalable, and maintainable module design.
  • Review and approve relevant System Integrator design deliverables for business fit, compliance, and maintainability.
  • Maintain design documentation, configuration workbooks, and decision logs for the assigned modules.
  • System Support
  • Administer configuration, workflow approvals, and data‑access controls for the assigned modules.
  • Own quarterly Oracle release adoption: assess new features, plan and execute regression testing, and manage change impacts.
  • Support environment management, configuration migration, and change control across instances.
  • Provide production support for the assigned modules, manage Oracle service requests (SRs), and drive issue resolution and enhancements.
  • Supply Chain, Inventory & Cost Management
  • Configure inventory organizations, items, subinventories and locators, transaction types, purchasing, receiving, counts, and consumption, waste, and shrink processes.
  • Configure cost methods, cost profiles, valuation, variances, and COGS recognition, and ensure cost and inventory accounting flows correctly to GL and reconciles.
  • Product Information Management (Product Hub)
  • Design the item and product data model, attributes, categories, and item classes.
  • Establish product data governance, new‑item onboarding workflows, and rules for completeness and quality.
  • Configure publication and integration of product data to downstream systems (e.g., POS, planning, and reporting).
  • General Ledger Integration
  • Define and validate SCM subledger accounting rules and inventory and COGS accounting to GL.
  • Support period‑close reconciliation for inventory, cost, and COGS.
  • Data Conversion, Integration & Testing
  • Lead conversion of item and product masters, on‑hand balances, open purchase orders and receipts, and costs using FBDI and ADFDI; validate and reconcile.
  • Support integrations between SCM/PIM and source or third‑party systems (POS, suppliers, planning) and validate end‑to‑end.
  • Build and execute SIT and UAT test scripts and drive defect resolution.
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • Build and maintain inventory, cost, COGS, and product‑data reports using OTBI and BI Publisher.
  • Establish reconciliation and data‑quality reporting for master and product data.
  • Cutover, Go‑Live & Stabilization
  • Support cutover, opening inventory and cost validation, go‑live, and hyper‑care.

Transition into steady‑state administration and the post‑production operating model.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Accounting/Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Multiple full‑lifecycle Oracle Fusion implementations with design‑authority or solution‑architect responsibility for SCM (Inventory, Cost Management, Procurement) and Product Information Management / Product Hub.
  • Senior Consultant or Manager‑level experience leading configuration design and administration for the assigned modules.
  • Working knowledge of inventory and cost accounting and the SCM‑to‑GL flow.
  • Experience with product and item data modeling and master data governance.
  • Hands‑on administration experience: security and role design, configuration and change management, and quarterly Oracle release adoption and regression testing.
  • Experience with data conversion using FBDI and ADFDI and report build with OTBI and/or BI Publisher.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to direct analysts, consultants, and SI resources.
  • Ability to operate at both architecture/design and detailed, hands‑on levels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle Cloud certifications in the assigned modules (Inventory, Cost Management, Product Hub/PIM, Procurement).
  • Experience integrating product data to POS and planning systems.
  • Experience with high‑volume inventory (concessions/F&B or retail) and multi‑location operations.
  • Experience with multi‑country, multi‑entity, and multi‑currency deployments.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and SQL for data validation.
  • Experience in cinema, hospitality, retail, food service, entertainment, or another high‑volume, multi‑location business a plus.
Solution Architecture & Administration Competencies
  • Design authority and configuration design across SCM, Cost Management, and PIM.
  • Inventory and COGS accounting and SCM‑to‑GL reconciliation discipline.
  • Product and master data modeling and governance.
  • Segregation‑of‑duties, and change‑management discipline, and quarterly release management.
  • Data conversion and validation and report build (OTBI/BI Publisher), and direction of analysts, consultants, and SI resources.
  • Clear communication with operations, finance, and technical audiences.
Measures of Success
  • Module design is documented, approved, and built to standard; the SCM‑to‑GL flow reconciles and product data meets governance standards.
  • Item and product master and opening inventory and cost are validated, reconciled, and approved before go‑live.
  • SCM deploys without material disruption to inventory operations, costing, COGS, or reporting.
  • Quarterly Oracle releases are adopted on schedule with no material regression, and production issues are resolved within agreed service levels.
