DEW Softech Inc. is seeking an Oracle Fusion Grants, Awards, Projects and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) Functional Consultant to support the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing operations of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.

This full-time contract role sits hybrid in Arlington Heights, IL, collaborating with Finance, Grants Administration, and technical teams to deliver scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Oracle ERP or Oracle Cloud functional experience.
• Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud PPM and Project Financial Management.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Grants Management and Awards.
• Strong understanding of project accounting concepts.
• Experience with Project Costing and related accounting processes.
• Experience supporting Oracle Fusion Project Billing, Project Contracts, Project Control, and Project Accounting.
• Knowledge of integrations between Oracle Fusion PPM and Oracle Financials.
• Experience with configuration, testing, implementation, quarterly releases, upgrades, and production support.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business processes into Oracle Fusion solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting end-to-end project and grant transaction lifecycles.
• Strong communication, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently on complex production support and implementation activities.

Responsabilités

• Configure and support Oracle Fusion Grants Management functionality.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of grants, sponsored projects, awards, and funding sources.
• Support configuration and maintenance of awards, sponsored projects, funding sources, award budgets, award projects, award organizations, funding controls, and award compliance requirements.
• Support award creation, amendments, funding changes, extensions, and award closeout processes.
• Work with Grants Administration and Finance teams to ensure expenditures comply with award funding requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues related to award and project associations, funding controls, costs, accounting, billing, and reporting.
• Configure and support Oracle Fusion Project Financial Management modules.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Project Foundation, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Contracts, Project Control, Project Budgets and Forecasts, and Project Accounting.
• Support project creation, project templates, organizations, classifications, project types, transaction controls, and project lifecycle activities.
• Configure and support expenditure types, expenditure categories, transaction sources, document entries, and burdening.
• Support project budgets, forecasts, funding, cost controls, and financial plans.
• Analyze project costs and revenue transactions and resolve processing exceptions.
• Support project cost collection from Oracle Fusion modules and external applications.
• Analyze transactions from Payables, Procurement, Purchasing, Receiving, General Ledger, and external interfaces.
• Troubleshoot cost import, cost distribution, accounting, and posting issues.
• Support Subledger Accounting activities related to project and grant transactions.
• Assist with reconciliation activities involving Projects, Grants, Payables, Receivables, Procurement, and General Ledger.
• Configure and support project and award billing processes including contract lines, contract projects, billing plans, revenue plans, invoice generation, and revenue recognition.
• Troubleshoot billing and revenue generation exceptions.
• Support integration between Project Billing, Receivables, and General Ledger.
• Assist Finance teams with billing and revenue reconciliation activities.
• Configure Oracle Fusion PPM and Grants functionality including Business Units, Project Units, Project Organizations, Project Types, Project Templates, Project Classifications, Project Accounting Rules, Burden Structures, Funding controls, Billing Methods, Revenue Methods, and Financial Plan Types.
• Evaluate business requirements and recommend solutions using standard Oracle Fusion functionality whenever possible.
• Partner with integration teams to support Oracle Fusion integrations involving Financials, Procurement, Payables, Receivables, General Ledger, Payroll, Banks, Grants systems, Research Administration systems, and Enterprise Reporting platforms.
• Support integrations utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, FBDI, ADFdi, ESS processes, BI Publisher, and OTBI.
• Develop functional requirements for Oracle Fusion reporting solutions.
• Support OTBI analyses, BI Publisher reports, financial reconciliations, project cost reporting, billing reporting, and award financial reporting.
• Perform transaction analysis and validate data across application, integration, reporting, and accounting layers.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, resolve transaction processing issues, troubleshoot interfaces, and support accounting and close activities.
• Support month-end close, quarter-end close, fiscal year-end, grant reporting cycles, award closeouts, and production deployments.
• Conduct business requirement workshops, fit-gap analysis sessions, solution design activities, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect management, data validation, cutover planning, and hypercare activities.
