Job Description

Our client is seeking an Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Lead for a contract role in Lawrenceville, GA. This position will be part of the IT team responsible for maintaining and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. The role involves acting as a strategic liaison between business users, the implementation vendor, Oracle, and technical teams. Responsibilities include configuring solutions, designing integrations, and supporting the streamlined use of the Oracle Fusion application suite. Additionally, the role entails evaluating quarterly releases of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (Finance), assessing impacts, and coordinating testing and validation with business teams.

We seek a candidate with in-depth knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Finance (ERP), extensive experience in ERP implementations and ongoing maintenance, and strong collaborative and leadership skills. The ideal candidate is reliable, enthusiastic, creative, customer-focused, and capable of managing technical and operational tasks while engaging proactively with business teams in a dynamic environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
2. At least 7 years of ERP implementation or administration experience.
3. Minimum of 3 years as a Finance Functional Lead for Oracle Fusion Cloud.
4. Proficiency with configurations, custom fields, and fast formulas in Oracle Fusion Cloud, with a solid understanding of integration with other Fusion applications and third-party systems.
5. Experience leading full project cycles including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
6. Familiarity with Oracle Fusion data dictionary and object relationships for requirement analysis and solution design.
7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. Ability and desire to mentor and teach other engineers across domains.

Preferred Experience:

1. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and configurations.
2. Experience with security roles and workflow setup in Oracle Fusion applications.
3. Strong business acumen in Finance, HR, or Payroll areas combined with deep IT knowledge.
4. Hands-on experience with other Oracle Fusion applications such as ERP and EPM.
5. Demonstrated initiative to stay current with technological advancements.
6. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Understand the Oracle Finance application deeply to collaborate effectively with Business SMEs and optimize application use.
2. Manage configurations, fast formulas, custom fields, and performance tuning of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
3. Assess impacts of quarterly releases and patches, coordinating testing with business teams.
4. Lead end-to-end testing of fixes and enhancements, including test plan and script creation.
5. Design and implement security roles, conduct security audits to mitigate vulnerabilities.
6. Monitor application performance and architecture to ensure system reliability, integrity, and recoverability.
7. Coordinate environment maintenance, updates, and outage communications with IT staff, vendors, and Oracle.
8. Establish best practices for administration, functionality, and security of Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
9. Troubleshoot issues, collaborating with security, network, service desk, and external vendors to resolve problems.
10. Create functional and technical specifications for integrations and peripheral applications.
11. Document system requirements, processes, policies, and procedures.
12. Mentor and train team members managing Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
13. Perform other duties as assigned, including managing configurations, interfaces, and reporting needs.
