Job summary

Weatherford is seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Consultant to support a data migration initiative from legacy systems into Oracle Fusion Cloud. The role requires strong hands-on knowledge across AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets and Project Accounting, with experience in data mapping and reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Strong functional experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
• Hands-on knowledge of AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets and Project Accounting.
• Experience with 2–3 Oracle implementations involving end-to-end data migration.
• Good understanding of Oracle Fusion financial master, balance, and transactional data.
• Strong experience with mapping, transformation requirements, data validation, financial reconciliation, conversion testing, and cutover.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to work with Finance business users and technical migration teams.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end Oracle Fusion Finance data migration from legacy systems into Oracle Fusion Cloud.

The consultant should have strong functional knowledge across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), and Project Accounting with hands-on experience supporting data conversion and reconciliation.

Mandatory

1. Houston-based / able to work from Houston. Travel to Weatherford office 3-4 days a week. It needs close collaboration with business users.
2. Strong hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud functional knowledge
3. At least 2–3 Oracle implementation projects involving end-to-end data migration
4. Hands-on involvement in data mapping, cleansing, transformation requirements, validation and reconciliation
5. Experience supporting mock conversions, SIT/UAT, cutover and production migration
6. Ability to bridge business SMEs and the technical data migration team
7. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
