Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Level 1 Functional Analyst in Oklahoma City, OK to support FAA Oracle Financials. You will provide frontline functional support for AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management, ensuring accurate data entry and policy compliance.

You will document issues, train users, and assist in testing enhancements and UAT, while staying current with Oracle updates and regulatory requirements affecting financial operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 0 years minimum experience, 4 years in lieu accepted.
• Basic understanding of Oracle Financials modules and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills with careful data handling.
• Good communication to coordinate with finance and IT teams.
• Ability to document issues and processes clearly.
• Prior Oracle Financials or ERP experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of general accounting practices and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level functional support for Oracle Financials modules like AP, AR, GL, FA, cash management.
• Assist users with daily financial transactions and ensure correct data entry per policies.
• Log, troubleshoot, and resolve common Oracle issues or escalate to seniors.
• Collaborate with finance teams to translate requirements into system functionality.
• Conduct basic data analysis and validation for transaction accuracy.
• Support month-end and year-end processes with reconciliations and reports.
• Document user issues and changes for knowledge base articles.
• Assist in developing and delivering user training on updates.
• Participate in testing enhancements and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Stay informed on Oracle updates, standards, and regulatory requirements.
