Oracle Field Service Lead – Job Description
Job Title: Oracle Field Service Lead (NO VISA SPONSORSHIP, NO C2C)
Job Summary:
The Oracle Field Service Lead is responsible for designing and implementing functional and technical solutions for mid-size to large clients or within the organization. This role leads major strategic initiatives and manages key customer relationships. The position requires deep expertise with Oracle technology and modules, applying this knowledge to improve client operations, drive revenue growth, and enhance business competitiveness. The Lead works collaboratively with functional and technical teams to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end implementation, configuration, and integration of Oracle Field Service Cloud or Oracle Fusion Field Service Cloud solutions for clients.
- Lead all aspects of project implementation, from requirements gathering through to delivery.
- Configure and implement Oracle Field Service Cloud modules, including Activities, Resources, Route Management, Integration, Collaborations, Plugins, Forms, Message Scenarios, Quotas, Capacities, and more.
- Serve as a functional and technical expert in Oracle Field Service Cloud and related Oracle CX applications (e.g., Oracle Maintenance Cloud, Oracle Service Cloud, Oracle Projects).
- Conduct discovery workshops, functional design sessions, and CRP/UAT testing workshops with client business and functional stakeholders.
- Perform hands-on design, solution architecture, prototyping, proof-of-concept, and development tasks.
- Act as a subject matter expert in one or more consulting technology areas.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, meet business requirements, and document technical gaps.
- Liaise between technical, functional, business, and system integrator teams.
- Conduct technical design reviews and guide the technical team to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams, manage task assignments, and monitor issue resolution.
- Collaborate with clients or internal stakeholders to assess needs, provide recommendations, and lead major client engagements.
- Oversee Field Service implementations to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Mentor and guide other teams and consultants, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
- Stay current with technological trends and innovations relevant to the organization.
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Technology or Professional Services Consulting.
- At least 5 years of experience in Oracle CX implementations, including Oracle Field Service.
- At least 5 years of experience with Field Service Management or Workforce Management solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience integrating Field Service Management with other Oracle or non-Oracle applications.
- Experience in configuring and implementing Oracle Field Service Cloud.
- Experience developing Forms, Plugins, and configuring Routing, Message Scenarios, and integrations.
- Preferred experience with integration through middleware such as Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Familiarity with Agile implementation methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience across various stages of engineering and professional services, including discovery, design, development, and implementation.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations as required by project milestones.
- Knowledge of relevant technologies and frameworks.
- Preferred experience with other Field Service technologies (e.g., ServiceMax, ServicePower, SAP Field Service, ClickSchedule).
- Technical knowledge of integrations, Plugins, and Forms is a plus.
- Work may be remote or on-site at client locations, with travel requirements varying by project.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Occasional bending, lifting, and driving may be required.
