Job description

Independence is seeking an Application Developer (Oracle EPM Specialist) to support and develop our Hyperion applications, including Planning, Enterprise Data Management, Profitability and Cost Management, and Strategic Modelling.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Support cloud-based Hyperion applications across various business processes.
  2. Analyze issues and provide technical solutions based on specifications.
  3. Manage data interfaces, automation jobs, and Hyperion processes.
  4. Understand system architecture and suggest improvements.
  5. Follow change management, data security policies, and procedures.
  6. Support end users with Hyperion Essbase and SmartView.
  7. Maintain applications monthly and participate in new system feasibility analyses.
  8. Lead project management efforts for supported projects.
  9. Monitor and maintain system efficiency proactively.
  10. Modify applications through coding, testing, and debugging; document revisions.
  11. Support production issues and document procedures.
  12. Communicate changes to relevant teams and assist in resource planning.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields or extensive Hyperion admin experience, with Oracle EPM Cloud experience preferred.
  2. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  3. Strong communication, technical, analytical, and project management skills.
  4. Experience with Oracle/Hyperion reporting tools and other technologies like Workday, Peoplesoft, SQL, Tableau.
  5. At least one year of system administration experience preferred.

Work Model:

This role follows a “Hybrid” model: 3 days in-office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday, Friday). Work must be performed within the Tri-State Area (Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania).
