Job summary

The Hackett Group Inc. – EEA Planning Practice seeks a Director to lead day-to-day project execution and drive business development across Oracle Hyperion planning platforms.

You will apply consulting, project management and technical skills to manage major components, coach junior staff and nurture executive client relationships. Ideal candidates have 8+ years of Hyperion consulting, strong leadership, and an MBA or advanced degree.

Qualifications

• 8+ years Hyperion-related consulting experience.
• Exceptional understanding of Oracle Hyperion's EPBCS Planning Application.
• Broad expertise with EPBCS, Essbase, EPMA, ODI, EDMCS and FCC.
• Full commitment to utilizing Hyperion technical skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate independently and in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.

DIRECTOR – EEA PLANNING

The Hackett’s EEA Planning Practice helps organizations discover the optimum levels to scope, functionality and precision to improve accuracy and reduce cycle times within planning applications.

Oracle Hyperion Planning Directors are primarily responsible for day-to-day project execution and business development. They apply well-honed consulting, project management and technical skills in the management of major project components or entire projects. Further, Directors are involved in business development such as proposal scoping, proposal development and sales calls.

Additional roles that our Directors play:

• Managing teams to complete client work in accordance with established budget, work plans and quality standards
• Identifying and resolving issues critical to the clients' strategic and operational success
• Providing technical/functional content knowledge
• Developing and presenting conclusions and recommendations to senior client management
• Providing solution implementation assistance as required
• Developing leading intellectual capital and insight to present to clients
• Overseeing the quality of deliverables
• Managing executive level client relationships
• Leading, coaching, developing and supervising the efforts of junior staff

Directors will typically have:

• 8+ years Hyperion related consulting experience showing progression/promotion
• Exceptional understanding of Oracle Hyperion's EPBCS Planning Application within targeted industries and consulting service lines
• Broad expertise with EPBCS, Essbase, EPMA, ODI, workforce, CAPEX, calc scripts, EDMCS and FCC.
• Full commitment to utilizing Hyperion technical skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills
• The ability to effectively operate independently and in a team environment
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred
