Job summary

A regional banking consulting firm is looking for a Production Support Manager who will oversee the operational aspects of Oracle Cloud modules and manage access and issues. Ideal candidates should have experience in Oracle Cloud environments, excellent coordination skills, and familiarity with reporting tools. This position is 100% remote and requires working during EST hours.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with Oracle Cloud implementations and production environments.
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud modules, including FDI, EMCF, ERP, and EPM systems.
  • Experience managing production systems and monitoring uptime.

Job Summary

Our regional banking client has recently completed a major Oracle Cloud transformation, including the implementation of EPMS systems and a ledger revamp. As they transition from build to production to help ensure Fusion Data Intelligence delivers accurate internal and external reporting, we are in need of a Production Support Manager. The manager will oversee the smooth operation of Oracle Cloud modules and ensure uptime, managing access, and coordinating issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and ensure smooth operation of Oracle Cloud modules (FDI, EMCF, ERP, EPM, FCC feeds) and manage system access.
  • Act as the primary contact for production issues, triaging incidents, coordinating resolution, and engaging technical teams as needed.
  • Perform admin system configs, user provisioning, and monitoring.
  • Coordinate patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and handle outages.
  • Follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Log, track, and manage issues using Oracle ticketing, Jira, or ServiceNow, maintaining clear documentation.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and leadership during outages or escalations and coordinate with technology teams for upgrades or deployments.
  • Develop reports using Oracle Smart View, Financial Reporting Studio, and other reporting tools.
Required Skills
  • Prior experience with Oracle Cloud implementations and production environments.
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud modules, including FDI, EMCF, ERP, and EPM systems and an understanding how different modules interconnect.
  • Experience managing production systems, monitoring uptime, handling outages, and following ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Report development experience using Smart View or similar.
  • Jira for defects and ServiceNow for production tickets – not a dealbreaker if they don’t have this but 90% of folks do.
  • Strong coordination, triaging, and written/verbal communication skills.
