Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking an Oracle EBS Order Management and Shipping Consultant in the United States. The role focuses on requirements gathering, solution design, and developing new features across ERP modules, including Order Management, Shipping, Pricing, and Inventory.

You will drive system integration efforts, configure interfaces, perform ETL tasks, and ensure data consistency while maintaining compliance and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will consider 3 years progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
• Experience implementing Oracle EBS Order Management, Shipping, Pricing and Inventory modules.

Responsibilities

• Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and validate specifications.
• Assist in solution architecture design by customizing ERP modules per detailed requirements.
• Develop and integrate new features, conduct code reviews, and maintain codebase for stability.
• Configure interfaces, execute ETL processes, and ensure data flow between ERP and other apps.
• Assess ERP performance and ensure customizations comply with security and regulatory standards.
• Develop documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training for knowledge transfer.

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Participate in requirements gathering with stakeholders across business units and assist in validating specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and ERP capabilities
• Contribute to solution architecture design by assisting in customizing modules and features of ERP package, based on detailed business requirements
• Develop and integrate new features into existing applications, conduct code reviews and maintain the codebase for stability and compliance
• Participate in system integration efforts by configuring interfaces, executing ETL processes, and ensuring consistent data flow between ERP and other applications
• Assess ERP system performance to identify enhancement opportunities and to ensure that ERP customizations are in compliance with security measures and regulatory standards
• Develop comprehensive documentation for ERP customizations and deliver user training to facilitate effective knowledge transfer

Your contribution to the team:

• Knowledge of ERP systems and integration techniques, along with sector focus
• The ability to handle end to end ERP package customization and implementation
• A knack for translating complex requirements into actionable development tasks.
• A passion for design and hands-on coding experience
• A collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders

Required Skill and Experience

• Implementation experience in Oracle EBS Order Management, and Oracle eBS Functional Shipping, Pricing, and Inventory modules.
• Understanding of the latest industry trends in EBS Order Management and Shipping related business processes and practices.
• Conceptual knowledge of P2P Cycle.
• Ability to translate requirements into fit-gap in Oracle EBS for the above modules.
• Ability to understand business requirements and map them to proposed solutions/enhancements.
• Ability to test and deploy custom solutions for Oracle EBS Order Management and Shipping modules.
• Ability to participate in functional testing and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders for timely delivery of the solutions developed.
• Ability to coordinate with peripheral application teams.
• Ability to lead super user training.
• Ability to support data conversions for Order Management data elements.

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Experience with Oracle EBS Functional Inventory.
• Knowledge of best practices followed in global Manufacturing industries.
• Ability to provide solutions/suggestions to the client.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
