Leads the strategic functional direction of a global enterprise ERP environment supporting manufacturing and business operations. Ensures cross-functional coherence, drives process standardization across regions, and shapes the long‑term evolution of the platform.

Serves as a senior functional authority, translating enterprise business strategy into a scalable ERP roadmap aligned with manufacturing and operational priorities. The role works across business functions, regions, and technology teams to establish consistent processes, prioritize investments, and ensure sustainable platform development.

Responsibilities

Strategic Governance & Platform Direction

• Provide strategic direction and governance across ERP functional capabilities supporting global manufacturing operations.
• Drive process standardization and convergence across regions and business units, reducing unnecessary variation and complexity.
• Translate business strategy and operational priorities into functional ERP direction and platform roadmaps.
• Shape the long‑term evolution of the ERP environment based on current and anticipated business requirements.
• Establish governance principles that promote scalability, consistency, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise objectives.

Prioritization & Demand Management

• Own the prioritization of ERP functional capabilities, enhancements, and business requests.
• Balance global business requirements, functional dependencies, technical considerations, available resources, and long‑term transformation objectives.
• Assess and refine business demand to ensure proposed initiatives align with strategic priorities and established solution standards.
• Resolve competing priorities across regions, functions, and business units using a consistent decision‑making framework.
• Ensure investment decisions support enterprise‑wide objectives rather than isolated regional requirements.

Design Authority & Solution Oversight

• Coordinate feasibility assessments, high‑level functional solutioning, and design governance across relevant teams.
• Review functional solutions and configuration changes for scalability, integration impacts, cross‑functional dependencies, and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Evaluate the longer‑term implications of solution and design decisions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and reduce unnecessary complexity.
• Ensure platform decisions preserve flexibility and support future business requirements.

Roadmap Execution & Delivery Governance

• Govern functional enhancement roadmaps, including scope, priorities, dependencies, and delivery planning.
• Monitor progress and completion of ERP enhancements, configuration changes, and release activities.
• Ensure delivery milestones remain aligned with agreed business priorities and commitments.
• Validate that delivered solutions meet defined functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Provide governance, escalation, and decision support when delivery risks or cross‑functional dependencies arise.

Qualifications

Experience

• 8–10 years of experience in enterprise ERP product ownership, functional leadership, process governance, or a comparable role.
• Demonstrated experience managing ERP capabilities within a complex, global manufacturing or operational environment.
• Proven experience driving process standardization and functional alignment across multiple regions or business units.
• Experience prioritizing complex ERP enhancement backlogs while balancing business, functional, technical, and operational considerations.
• Experience working within matrixed organizations with geographically distributed teams and multiple senior stakeholders.

Education

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Advanced degree or relevant professional qualifications may be advantageous.

ERP & Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of enterprise ERP platforms, functional architectures, module interactions, and integration concepts.
• Ability to assess functional impacts, cross‑functional dependencies, and the long‑term implications of solution decisions.
• Experience with ERP configuration governance, enhancement processes, release management, and platform lifecycle activities.
• Working knowledge of enterprise data models, business process harmonization, and ERP transformation methodologies.
• Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and detailed functional levels.

Manufacturing & Business Operations

• Strong understanding of manufacturing and end‑to‑end operational processes.
• Familiarity with areas such as procurement, inventory, production, order management, logistics, planning, and related business processes.
