Job summary

Techead is seeking a Senior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Developer to modernize and extend our HR/Financial platform (eSCC) on OCI. You will be a senior technical pillar within a focused Agile team, guiding architecture and full-lifecycle delivery.

Responsibilities include designing, building, and deploying EBS custom solutions across GL, AP, PO, HR modules, and leading testing, UAT, and production deployments.

Qualifications

This position is 2 days per week remote / work from home.

Join our core enterprise applications team as a Senior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Developer. In this key technical role, you will be one of two senior technical pillars within a focused four-person Agile team responsible for modernizing, extending, and optimizing our enterprise HR and Financial platform (eSCC), hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

If you are an experienced Oracle EBS professional who excels at solving complex backend challenges, designing full-lifecycle technical architectures across Financials and HCM, and mentoring others in modern delivery standards, this role offers high ownership and technical influence.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, build, and deploy robust custom solutions, extensions, interfaces, and reports across Oracle EBS 12.2+ running on Linux and OCI.
• Drive technical development and integration across key enterprise modules:
• General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Purchasing (PO).
• Human Resources (Core HR), Time & Labor (OTL), and iRecruitment.
• Collaborate within a fast-paced sprint rhythm—translating high-level functional requirements into technical designs (MD070/MD050), breaking down user stories, and burning down backlog priorities using Azure DevOps.
• Support critical production releases, conduct peer code reviews, troubleshoot complex database/PL/SQL performance issues, and maintain high standards for system uptime and security.
• Lead unit and automated system testing, partner closely with business analysts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and facilitate reliable deployments into production.
• Author technical standard operating procedures, architectural schematics, and ensure comprehensive documentation for long-term platform resilience.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of deep Oracle EBS technical development experience, specifically with Oracle EBS R12.2+ hosted in Linux/Unix environments.
• Mastery of Oracle Development Stack:
• Advanced PL/SQL, SQL performance tuning, and database package development.
• Oracle Developer Suite: Forms (fmb) & Reports (rdf).
• Oracle Application Framework (OAF) via JDeveloper / Java.
• Oracle Workflow Builder and Alerts.
• BI Publisher / XML Publisher data models and RTF templates.
• Demonstrated experience customizing both Financials (GL, AP, PO) and HCM (Core HR, OTL, iRecruitment).
• Strong technical systems analysis, architectural design, and interface/integration development (APIs, REST/SOAP web services, concurrent programs).
• Proven track record operating in structured Agile methodologies with backlog grooming, sprint planning, and CI/CD mindset.
