Job summary

Banner Engineering in Minnesota seeks a skilled Oracle E-Business Suite developer to design, implement, and support ERP enhancements. You will work with business analysts, solutions architect, and the IT team to maintain data accuracy and create reports that stabilize and optimize Oracle applications.

Responsibilities include designing interfaces, documenting programs, developing tests, and providing on-call support.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• 5 years of experience working with Oracle Applications, including knowledge of Oracle database structure, PL/SQL and SQL.
• Maintains currency in emerging industry and process best practices and technology enablers.
• Understanding of software development and maintenance lifecycles.
• Knowledge of underlying database structures – schemas, database objects, file system structure, tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, sequences, indexes and constraints.
• Highly motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to deliver quality, on-time results.
• Must be well organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Consult with business analysts, engineers, programmers, managers and others to design applications and interfaces.
• Design, develop, implement and maintain applications, tools and databases that integrate Oracle EBS with other applications.
• Provide database design capabilities.
• Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions that describes input, output and logical operation per Banner standards.
• Insert comments in the physical code so others can understand the program.
• Develop unit and functional test plans.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of Banner’s business practices, products and customers.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and management.
• Be available for on-call support.
• Other duties as assigned.
