Job summary

Banner Engineering is seeking an Oracle E-Business Suite developer to design, implement, and maintain Oracle EBS applications, ensuring data integrity and reporting capabilities. The role collaborates with IT and business teams to optimize processes and deliver reliable solutions.

You will work within Banner’s Oracle environment, contributing to documentation, testing, and enhancements while aligning with company standards and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science or related field
• 5 years of experience with Oracle Applications, including knowledge of Oracle database structure, PL/SQL and SQL
• Knowledge of underlying database structures – schemas, database objects, file system structure, tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, sequences, indexes and constraints
• Ability to deliver quality, on-time results and work both independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Consult with business analysts, engineers, programmers, managers and others to design applications and interfaces
• Design, develop, implement and maintain applications, tools and databases that integrate Oracle EBS with other applications
• Compile and write documentation of program development and revisions describing input, output and logic per Banner standards
• Insert comments in code to aid understanding
• Develop unit and functional test plans
• Modify existing software to correct errors or improve performance
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of Banner’s business practices, products and customers
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and management
• Be available for on-call support
• Other duties as assigned
