Bank of America in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a seasoned Oracle EBS / PLSQL developer to design, build, and maintain high-availability solutions for the Account Analysis, Billing & Pricing applications. Role requires collaboration across Unix, DBAs, EBS admins, and product teams, with a strong emphasis on CI/CD and Agile practices.

The candidate will work across the SDLC, contribute to architecture decisions, and provide Level 3 support while ensuring compliance and performance standards are met.

Qualifications

US Payments Technology is seeking an experienced and motivated Techno functional Oracle EBusiness Suite developer with strong PLSQL & UNIX Shell scripting expertise to join our team and work on developing applications that support the Account Analysis Billing & Pricing applications. The successful candidate will work on designing, building, customizing and maintaining high‑priority, highly available applications for our business partners.The role will involve partnering with key stakeholders, teammates and technology management throughout the software delivery life cycle to meet business requirements. The ideal candidate is comfortable working along with the mainframe technology stack, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and enjoys collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

• Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
• Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
• Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
• Automates manual release activities
• Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
• Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements

• Design, develop, customize and maintain the Oracle EBusiness Suite platform.
• Collaborate with the Unix, database administrators and EBS administrators to roll out EBS patches
• Collaborate closely with product managers, teammates and other engineering teams to satisfy requirements and deliver highly performant resilient applications.
• Participate in Agile development cadences andCI/CD pipelines
• Provide Level 3 support for the Account Analysis Billing & Pricing applications in general and Oracle EBusiness Suite platform in particular.
• Stay current with technologies and propose improvements to tools, processes, and architecture

Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate will be expected to Experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle/ Software Testing Life Cycle (SDLC/STLC)

• 10+ years of development experience using Oracle PLSQL and Unix Shell Scripting

• Good understanding SFTP protocol
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment & working knowledge of jira

Pay range

$102,900.00 - $179,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
