Job summary

Procom is seeking an Oracle EBS Consultant for a 3-month remote assignment. The role focuses on configuring and integrating Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.x with Avalara for tax calculation, with a Seattle-based hiring manager and Canada-based consultants welcome.

You will lead functional setup, coordinate with tax partners, translate requirements into Oracle configurations, and support testing, cutover and go-live with finance stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Deep functional expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2.x setups.
• Proven experience implementing or integrating Avalara with Oracle EBS.
• Strong grounding in Oracle finance modules and tax setups such as E-Business Tax, Receivables, Payables, GL, and Order Management.

Oracle EBS Consultant:On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for an Oracle EBS Consultant for a 3-month role. This position is a remote position with a Seattle-based hiring manager, and Canada-based consultants are welcome.Oracle EBS Consultant - Job Description:Our client is implementing Avalara for tax calculation alongside its existing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environment, version 12.2.7. The focus of this project is on configuring and integrating EBS with Avalara, ensuring the foundational setups are correctly established from the outset.Oracle EBS Consultant - Responsibilities:• Lead the functional setup and configuration of Oracle EBS 12.2.7 to support the Avalara integration.• Work with the tax consulting partner to align Oracle setups with Avalara requirements.• Translate business and finance requirements into Oracle EBS functional design and configuration.• Partner with the development team on integration points, and support testing and defect resolution.• Support user acceptance testing, cutover, and go-live with finance and business stakeholders.• Document configurations, decisions, and open items for the client team.• Provide the project manager with clear updates on progress, risks, and dependencies.Oracle EBS Consultant - Mandatory Skills:• Deep functional expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite, with hands-on knowledge of Release 12.2.x setups.• Proven experience implementing or integrating Avalara with Oracle EBS.• Strong grounding in Oracle finance modules and tax setups such as E-Business Tax, Receivables, Payables, General Ledger, and Order Management.• Experience working in multi-vendor project teams.• Clear written and verbal communication.• Collaborative working style.• Availability for roughly 40 hours per week, overlapping with most U.S. business hours.Oracle EBS Consultant – Nice-to-Have Skills:• Techno-functional background, comfortable reading integration designs and working with developers.• Familiarity with e-commerce tax flows.Oracle EBS Consultant – Assignment Length:This is a 3-month contract with the potential extension to 6 months or more.Oracle EBS Consultant - Start Date:ASAP.Oracle EBS Consultant - Assignment Location:Remote, with a Seattle-based hiring manager; Canada-based consultants welcome.
