Job Description / Responsibilities

Responsible for designing and developing complex database and data integration (ETL) code for Customer Relationship View (CRV) application and its databases. Leads and/or performs analysis of CRV business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign database solutions.

• Develops complex PL/SQL Procedures, packages, Functions, Triggers, Views, and Materialized Views.
• Designs logical partitioned tables.
• Leads or participates in data modeling, simulations, and analysis for CRV database development.
• Optimizes performance of existing solutions and supports production issues.
• Creates complex ETL code to interface Oracle with other databases like SQL Server and text files.
• Builds frameworks for ETL processes.
• Verifies program logic through testing and debugging; participates in system testing.
• Provides application support and technical troubleshooting for database and server issues.
• Develops documentation, technical procedures, and user guides.
• Acts as escalation point for support issues, guiding less experienced staff.
• Ensures quality, security, and compliance of databases and servers.
• Partners with business teams to produce functional design documents and supports QA testing.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years experience with Oracle database design and development, including Oracle 19c.
• 2+ years in ETL, Data Modeling, and Data Migration.
• 1+ years administering Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of real-time replication and database tuning.
• Experience with database optimization, partitioning, and large data management.

Desired Skills

• Leading small development teams.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Oracle/Informatica ETL environments.
• Database performance tuning and monitoring.
• Interfacing Oracle with other databases and replication knowledge.
• Financial services experience, especially in collections and PL/SQL advanced features.
• Understanding of Oracle RAC and large data warehousing.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
