TEKsystems invites you to join the GIS team as an Oracle DB Developer. This contract position in Chicago, IL focuses on design, development, and implementation of complex Oracle-based applications within a supportive team. You’ll contribute across the stack, follow best practices, and deliver unit tests to ensure quality.

Strong experience with PL/SQL, Informatica, Oracle Applications, and related ETL tools is required. Onsite work in Chicago, with a compensation range based on experience.

Qualifications

• Develops and implements Oracle-based applications with PL/SQL and Informatica components.
• Performs logical and physical database design and optimization.
• Ensures data models align with enterprise data governance and audit standards.
• Contributes to source control practices and unit testing across the stack.
• Collaborates with teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and deliver features.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and ETL tooling is a plus.

In this role, you will be using the experience you have gained throughout your career to assist in the design, development, and implementation of various complex applications. We also like for our developers to feel comfortable contributing throughout the application stack and we believe it is important that you follow best practices established by the team, including proper source code control practices and delivery of unit test cases.

Whether you are building applications from scratch, de-bugging existing code, or collaborating with various teams/team-members, for example, your skills will be tested and your knowledge-base will grow as you rise to meet the challenges.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68.26 - $68.26/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
